• The industries related to bamboo generate already an income, food and shelter to more than 2.2 billions people around the world. Thomas Edison succesfuly used a carbonized bamboo filament in his experiment with the first bulb. This bulb still lights up Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. He also used bamboo as stuffing for his sweeming pool. Until our days, the sweeming pool doesn't leack.
